Indian Movies and Pakistan

In Karachi a server comes free with internet connection provided by local internet providers; last night I saw 70,000 aprox Downloads of an Indian movie MS Dhoni.

But when you ask those people about Indian movies; they'll tell you that they hate it, it should be banned and Pakistani movies are way better than Indians' but when you observe those people closely you'll see theaters were full when Indian movies were screening and ISP's servers has highest downloads of any latest Indian movies.

So, hypocrisy!!!

But honestly should Indian movies be banned?

If you think of it now Pakistani cinema has started breathing again but why?

Because of cinemas and movie theater business started to gain popularity and people started investing in it!!!

and theater's most source of income comes from Indian movies

but if a business don't earn it gets closed. and if theater gets closed then where will Pakistani movies will screen?

so without theaters movie can't earn that the obvious thing, you can't just sale DVDs or show it on TV.

So ban of Indian movies ends up killing Pakistani cinema and if the ban don't get lifted then you'll also see a slowly dying Pakistani Movie industry that just started to breathe recently.

Shoping online in karachi

Like all the modern cities, karachi is getting its touch in online shopping through some past years.

After some years there are sooo many online stores in karachi that my facebook and instaa wall is full of ads from online shops.

But as with increased quantity, Quality is left out somewhere.

Its not to be found easily.

A lot of deals but most of them scams and misleading

Most of the deals you'll see is pack of shirts which I and some of my friends ordrerd and all the shirts was less of a quality and with different sizes yet same labels i.e A large shirt had 3 different sizes in 5 pack of shirts

Another incident happend to my friends when he bought a watch worth of R. 1300/- which torn down in a week

and to those saloon deals you see now and then, Rs. 500-2000 and full makeover etc, Some of my friends ordered that and service was of poorest quality.

Quoating a few and lots of related incidents I hear on daily basis in my circle but still online shopping is growing because some of them have better experiences and I had too some of good experiences.

But good expereinces are just a few and number of scams is quite high.

I left shoping online after various scams but still I say there are some web stores where quality is provided.

but I discourage online shoping because its waste of money and time.

A shirt you can buy online may be worth 100-300 but upon arriving it could be bad fit, poor quality or different color that means a waste of full money or compromising with what you wear just because you had paid for it.

Better to go to some shops try it on, get the fitting right, color suits your skin tone and style

and Rs. 300 worth of shirt you buy in stores for Rs. 500 but I still consider it a good buy.

But sadly, somewhere between terror, politics and negative media portrait; City is not perceived how it was in past days.

Karachi has so much hidden inside it. 

its history, fun, foods, and the most importantly its Beauty.

I love karachi and its people.

I love the calmness of its beach

Beauty of its malls

Energy in the teenagers

Amazing minds at universities

Living style of some awesome people at posh areas

food streets (they are too damn delicious)

and a lot of it....

So we'll explore its beauty, charm and fun here...
